Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a genuine impact supporting K-8 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming, close-knit district north of Denver. The position is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) and centers on providing services in a moderate to severe, center-based classroom at a K-8 site.
Your compassion and expertise will ensure students with mild-to-severe needs receive top-notch speech therapy, evaluations, and those essential service notes. If a student’s IEP lists only speech services, you’ll take the lead as their case manager, designing interventions that bring meaningful change.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language evaluations and write clear, actionable assessments
- Deliver direct speech therapy to students with mild to severe needs
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including monthly speech minutes and service notes
- Serve as IEP case manager for students receiving speech-only services
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Participate in multi-disciplinary panel interviews as part of the hiring process
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility; Clinical Fellows welcomed (district offers clinical supervision)
- Ability to secure or current possession of Colorado Department of Education SLP credentials (indicate current status upon application)
- Comfort working with moderate to severe needs in a K-8 setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
