Description of Duties:

Position Title: Security / Facilities Operations Administrator

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, C

Shift: Day shift

Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time

The Security / Facilities Operations Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

· Demonstrate a repeatable cycle of security system auditing and investigation of anomalous activity.

· Maintain and manage open storage certification requirements. Provide guidance to occupants on the security classification requirements. Receive, generate, and reproduce classified material up to the SECRET classification.

· Perform duties as the Security Assistant as defined in the Quad 2400 Security Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

· Coordinate with MDA Security Department (MDA/EIR) Security personnel for the Security Manager on all physical and information security issues and tasks.

· Develop, maintain, and train SOP documentation IAW standard MDA / EIR procedures.

· Perform block captain activities IAW the latest Government SOP.

· Perform safe management, including inventories and maintenance of safe combinations.

· Conduct physical security and export control activities.

· Coordinate across other IRES TOs and with vendors and other Government customers to facilitate and provide access control to the M&S Center footprint for personnel not permanently authorized within the footprint (e.g. facility inspections, cleaning crews, VIP visits, project related visits, inventory activities).

· Perform conference and Video Teleconference (VTC) room scheduling and publish the reservation results.

· Set up classified and unclassified VTCs as needed.

· Report to the MDIOC Service Desk when classified and uclcassified printers are not operational, and facilitate paper and toner replacements.

· Ensure proper classified document storage and disposal requirements and procedures are followed.

· Perform cubicle change management by tracking and reporting cubicle seating assignments.

· Perform other duties as required.

The successful candidate will:

· Have a strong aptitude for customer service.

Qualifications - External

Basic Requirements:

· Must have 4, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience

o May be reduced based on advanced education

· Must have 1, or more, years of administrative experience

· Must have experience in Microsoft Office Basic tools including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

· Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

· Have experience with US Government classified and derivative classified information marking, handling, storage and disposal

· Have experience in onboarding new employees

· Have experience in physical and personnel security

· Have experience in office administration and office security

· Have administrative work experience under Department of Defense Contracts

· Have experience with JPAS

This position is expected to pay $65,000 - $80,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
