Position Overview
 We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in substations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components within substations. This role requires a solid understanding of power systems and control systems as well as expertise in various electrical engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for substations including power distribution, control systems, and protection schemes.
- Conduct system analysis and simulations using software tools such as Matlab and Simulink.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of electrical components and systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and designing electrical layouts and schematics.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting of substation equipment and systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for design processes, testing procedures, and system modifications.
- Implement PLC programming for automation and control of substation processes.
- Stay updated on renewable energy technologies and integrate them into substation designs.
- Participate in RF design and signal processing as required for communication systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on substations and power systems.
- Strong understanding of control systems and electronics.
- Familiarity with PCB design and embedded systems.
- Proficient in Matlab, Simulink, and AutoCAD.
- Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and renewable energy technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
