Job Description

BPI Medical (Fife, Washington) is seeking an ASAP on-site contract CNC Programmer for a 90-day assignment (8-hour shift; OT available; travel/per diem available). We manufacture orthopedic and spinal medical devices in Titanium / CoCr / Stainless and need a programmer who can take work from print → program → proven process, partnering closely with the floor to deliver safe, stable production.

Non-negotiables\n

Hands-on 5-axis VMC programming + prove out support (simultaneous 5-axis strongly preferred)

\n

Matsuura MX-520 experience strongly preferred

\n

Strong programming competence for Haas mills + Haas lathe

\n

Comfortable machining Ti / CoCr / SS in a quality-driven environment

\n

Floor execution strength: safe run-up, collision avoidance, offsets/tool comp, probing strategy (as applicable)

\n

Nice to have\n

DMG MORI NLX1500 programming experience (or similar turning center)

\n

What success looks like\n

Programs released cleanly and supported through prove out; stable production handoff

\n

Setup sheets/tool lists/offset strategy documented and revision-controlled

\n

Cycle-time, tool life, and process stability improved where practical

\n

Location: Fife, WA (on-site)

\n

Duration: 90 days (possible extension based on workload)

\n

Shift: 8 hours (OT available)

\n

Traveling candidates welcome — travel/per diem available
