What You'll Do
As a SMART Safety Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safety standards not only meet but exceed expectations-both for our clients and for SMART. Your responsibilities will include:

Lead & Plan: Design, schedule, and oversee safety functions at assigned job sites to deliver results beyond client expectations.

Monitor & Improve: Conduct site safety audits, trainings, and investigations to build a culture of continuous improvement.

Respond & Report: Investigate job site incidents, provide accurate reports, and ensure timely communication with clients and leadership.

Train & Empower: Deliver engaging safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and general health and safety programs.

Ensure Compliance: Keep teams aligned with Federal, State, and Local regulations while meeting client program requirements.

Drive Accountability: Maintain precise records, documentation, and safety reports that showcase measurable results.
What You Bring

Experience: 3+ years in Health & Safety within construction, contracting (mechanical, electrical, drywall, roofing, etc.), manufacturing, or related industries.

Education: Technical or undergraduate degree preferred (but not required).

Certifications: OSHA 500, OSHA 501, CSP, ASP, GSP, COSS, CHST, etc. (preferred but not required).

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
