As we broaden our urological health services, we are looking for a Uro-Oncologist to join our team at Staten Island University Hospital.

Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution.
  • Completion of a residency program with Board Certification or eligibility.
  • Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology, specifically with a focus on prostate care.
  • Active medical license in the State of New York.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with medical personnel and hospital administration.
  • Recent experience with current and widely accepted medical practices and techniques.

About the Department of Urology

The Arthur Smith Institute for Urology has experienced significant growth over the last five years across Long Island, New York City, and Westchester, aiming to deliver comprehensive and integrated healthcare services. Our team of physicians is highly skilled in minimally invasive techniques for treating a variety of urological conditions, including those affecting the bladder, kidneys, male reproductive organs, and prostate. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced partners across all urological specialties, fostering a supportive and collegial environment. We conduct weekly conferences to ensure our team stays informed about the latest advancements in treatments and technologies. Additionally, you will benefit from a robust network of physician extenders and the resources of the largest health system in the New York Metropolitan area.

Our urologic specialists, who also serve as faculty at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and developing innovative educational programs.
