A locum tenens Otolaryngologist is needed in Wisconsin to provide call coverage for a short-term assignment over the upcoming holidays. This role offers the flexibility of a call-only schedule.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient setting with inpatient rounding as needed
• The hospital is a Trauma Level 3 facility
• Coverage is for unassigned patients

Schedule

• Call-only coverage from 7am to 7am
• Short-term assignment with a no long-term commitment
• Call amount can fluctuate

Procedures and Cases

• General Otolaryngology, surgical and non-surgical
• Procedures including endoscopic, septal, sinus, bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy, tracheotomy, and thyroidectomy
• Experience with complex head and neck surgery, facial reconstruction, and rhinoplasty

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Otolaryngology
• BLS certification
• Ability to admit patients and obtain hospital privileges

Credentialing Requirements

• Estimated timeframe is 90 days or through Act 10
• Temporary privileges are available

Travel accommodations

• Lodging recommendation is Cobblestone
• Nearest airport is CWA
