Job DescriptionFinance Administration Responsibilities:
Manage storage, retrieval, and disposal of financial and marketing documents per USDA policies. Maintain and update related databases.
Handle USDA correspondence, approval notices, and automobile records.
Oversee non-HR insurance policies, liaise with brokers, and relay decisions.
Provide administrative support for Finance, including preparing for Finance and Audit Committee meetings, taking minutes, and organizing materials.
Corporate-Wide Accounting Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Internal Control Policy for documentation, approvals, and fund disbursements.
Manage company credit cards (requests, changes, reconciliation, and spending limits).
Oversee expense reporting (training, entry, and management via Concur system).
Assist with audits by organizing and providing materials.
Perform bank statement and balance sheet reconciliations during monthly financial close.
Oversee fixed assets, including accounting, inventory, and depreciation in line with GASB rules.
Manage financial aspects of events (revenue transactions, credit card machines, and reconciliations).
Prepare international/domestic wire transfers and maintain accounts receivable records.
Assist with budgeting, petty cash reconciliation, and additional tasks as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and a strong understanding of GAAP, finance, and accounting principles.
