Qualifications include completion of a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration in Radiography and CT, NM State Certification, BLS certification, and physical ability to lift 50 pounds. Preferred skills include knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, advanced CT procedures, contrast use, and service work orders.
Responsibilities encompass performing CT scans independently, adhering to standards, prioritizing patient care, managing images via P.A.C.S. and R.I.S., coordinating with physicians, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. The role demands physical endurance, attention to safety protocols, and professional communication, with an emphasis on embodying core organizational values.
Other duties include patient transportation, ongoing education, and maintaining a safe, courteous environment. Physical demands involve exposure to radiation, body fluids, and potential patient interactions.
