Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a vibrant school community. This assignment runs from August 2026 through November/December 2026, offering the chance to make a real difference in students' lives during an extended leave coverage. The role is conveniently scheduled for 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and you'll work closely with a dedicated team including SLPAs to ensure quality services for a caseload averaging around 45 students.

Key Qualifications & Experience Needed:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in California
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP process, student documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work effectively with support staff and adapt to the needs of the student population

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and other SLPs/SLPAs to foster student growth
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and communications
  • Support students across a diverse range of speech and language needs
