Job Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Receptionist/Patient Registration Rep for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Fully registers patients as required by Clinic protocol. Receives payments from patients and issues receipts. Greets and signs in/checks in patients, verifies and updates necessary information. Performs online receipting, cash drawer transaction and cash drawer balancing daily.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or HiSet

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with an afternoon off per week)

Experience

Prefer one year work experience, preferably in a medical office.
Keyboard and computer experience
Medical terminology class required within on year of employment.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
