Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Coordinator
Overland Park, KS | Fully Onsite
Full-Time | Contract | $24-26ph.
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support a busy accounting team during a special project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing high-volume invoice processing, and contributing to the success of a collaborative team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
· Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
· Review invoices for proper approvals and coding
· Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing
· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
· Maintain accurate vendor records and account documentation
· Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items
· Support month-end closing activities as needed
· Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
· Experience with high-volume invoice processing preferred
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
· Reliable and dependable professional
· Positive attitude and team-first mindset
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
· Someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
