Responsible for leading traffic personnel and providing hands-on support across all aspects of the shipping and receiving operation. This role plays a key part in coordinating daily warehouse workflows, ensuring shipping accuracy, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The position also requires proactive participation in meetings and the training/retraining of both new and existing traffic clerks to maintain team alignment and operational excellence. Travel between EC and DC plants may be required.
Material Shipping / Receiving / Maintaining LDS

Quotes for all LDS orders

Selects and schedules carriers based on best available rate and required delivery timeline

Coordinates and manages delivery dates and PGI dates
California Warehouse

Responsible for both California warehouses: 1505 and 1515
-
Create deliveries in SAP for both locations
-
Delete shipments/deliveries as needed
-
Send pick lists to 1505 and 1515
-
Receive material into inventory upon arrival at 1505/1515

Move rolls and materials to appropriate storage locations
-
Oversee inventory accuracy through regular monitoring and adjustments
Lexmark Yarn 1445
-
Receives incoming Lexmark yarn shipments into the system to show at 1435
-
Obtains freight rates and schedules carriers for outbound Lexmark yarn shipments
-
Coordinates shipments from both Lexmark and Royal Drive locations
-
Ensures timely and accurate processing in alignment with shipping requirements
Bloomsburg Plant Shipping & Receiving (1435)
-
Picks orders for delivery/shipment
-
Obtains freight rates and schedules LTL (Less Than Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload) shipments based on cost and delivery requirements

Bills and ships orders according to RDD (Requested Delivery Date) and PGI (Post Goods Issue) timelines
-
Collaborates closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment

Systematically moves materials between storage locations in SAP
-
Works with planning and receives incoming Bloomsburg material into inventory
Traffic Operations Support & Training
-
Provides hands-on support to traffic clerks across various shipping and receiving functions
-
Collaborate with PD (Product Development) and the Sample Department to identify, research, and sort problem orders
-
Bills shipments and ensures timely, accurate documentation
-
Investigates and resolves issues related to missing freight, carrier paperwork, or incomplete shipments
-
Assists coworkers and traffic team members in resolving day-to-day issues or escalations
-
Handles specialized tasks such as material bank orders, reconsignments, and Stock Transport Order deliveries

Creates and ships STOs, and receives materials like glue and 12ft goods
