Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique staffing firm located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Payroll Clerk for a construction firm in Covina.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the HR/Payroll Manager with weekly payroll for approximately 125 employees.
- Perform data entry tasks related to employee hours, benefits administration, and deductions while maintaining high accuracy levels.
- Assist with compliance reporting, and year-end payroll documentation to meet governmental requirements.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, distributing mail, data entry, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:
- At least one year of payroll experience required.
- Experience with Computer Ease/Deltek highly preferred.
- Experience within the construction industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Wednesday – Friday from 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $22 - $24/hour (Depending on Experience)
