Location: Chestnut Ridge, NY
Schedule: On-Site | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to support production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on assembly work, precision tasks, and collaboration with a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, or microscopes as required.
- Follow documented assembly procedures and work instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Execute repetitive assembly tasks with high attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals.
- Read and interpret English instructions, diagrams, and assembly-related documents.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred / Stand-Out Qualifications
- Soldering experience.
- Microscope experience.
- Genuine interest in building a long-term manufacturing career.
- Knowledge of IPC J-Std-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
- Experience with UV glue or epoxy.
- Above-average computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to read and interpret PCBA documents, diagrams, and schematics.
Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $43,000.00 per year
