Job DescriptionPRODUCTION SUPERVISORCapital RegionFusco Personnel is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support our Director of Manufacturing and help drive on-time delivery of high-quality machined parts. This exempt leadership role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional who thrives in a fast-paced machine shop environment.Primary Duties
- Oversee daily production activities and provide guidance to production staff
- Develop and execute training plans for new hires and apprentices
- Lead tooling selection, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts
- Manage high-risk quotes and technical customer communications
- Drive process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and delivery
- Support asset purchases and equipment proposals
- Participate in hiring, performance management, and employee development
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes), including setup and/or programming
- 5+ years working with machine tools and tooling
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong blueprint reading, quoting, math, and process improvement skills
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (A.S. in Advanced Manufacturing preferred)
