Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This per diem opportunity is for an outpatient pharmacist to provide PRN coverage at a healthcare facility. The position requires flexibility for scheduled shifts in June and July, offering support primarily in prescription verification and patient counseling.
Schedule:
- June 12: 8 AM - 5 PM
- June 18-19 (no technician on site): 8 AM - 5 PM
- July 17: 1 PM - 5 PM
- July 31: 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: Fort Dodge, IA
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify low volume prescriptions, approximately 40 per day
- Counsel patients regarding their medications and treatments
- Perform typical outpatient pharmacy duties ensuring accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Iowa Pharmacist License
- Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
Additional Information:Housing and mileage expenses are reimbursed as a pass-through.
