Job Summary
The Shipping & Inventory Associate is responsible for the precise handling, tracking, and movement of finished goods inventory, ensuring all outbound customer and supplier shipments are prepared, documented, and scheduled correctly according to company and carrier standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
I. Shipping & Logistics Coordination

Prepare all finished goods for shipment, including securely boxing, wrapping, and palletizing products.

Prepare and manage all required outbound paperwork, including packing slips, Bills of Lading (BOL), Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), and shipping labels.

Schedule and coordinate freight pick-ups with appropriate carriers (LTL, TL, and small package services like FedEx/UPS).

Ensure all shipments comply with domestic and international shipping regulations.
II. Inventory Control & Warehouse Operations

Accurately scale/count product into shipping containers and record all material movements and transfers.

Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records by performing data entry into the ERP system and internal databases.

Store finished goods in the designated warehouse location and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).

Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and performing physical inventory checks.
III. Safety & Organization

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion (5S standards).

Safely operate material handling equipment, including a forklift and/or pallet jack (certification preferred, but we will provide training).
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are a must.

Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and operate an ERP/WMS system.

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
