Your Role
The Director of Marketing plays a critical leadership role in driving the success of the business. This position is responsible for leading the Marketing Team, developing and executing growth strategies that increase market penetration, enhance customer value, support the launch of new offerings and contribute to overall business performance.
As the leader of the Marketing department, this role fosters a positive, high-performing culture that energizes and inspires team members, strengthens collaboration and relationships, and promotes continuous learning and professional growth. This role guides the organization's brand and reputation, ensuring a strong, consistent, and professional image across all marketing initiatives and customer touchpoints. This position reports to the VP of Branch Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.
- Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
- Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
- Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging products and services.
- Partners closely with Sales, Product and Innovation teams.
- Forecasts, drafts, implements, and manages the department’s operating budget.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains marketing staff.
- Overseas the daily workflow of the department and team performance.
- Partners closely with external creative vendors and partners.
- Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing or related field Required
- 5 Years of Marketing Leadership Experience Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required to effectively interact with all levels of company management staff and customers
- Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, one note, MS teams, and MS Outlook
- Proven ability to inspire, build and manage successful teams with a marketing and product focus.
- Ability to be tactical and results oriented and strategic.
Work Conditions
- Prolonged Sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Lifting capabilities 25lbs
- Travel - up to 40% for marketing events, trade shows, distribution center visits.
- Job is located in Lehi, UT at the Grabber Corporate Office in the Thanksgiving Point Business Park
