Outdoor Canvasser / Door-to-Door Appointment Setter

Compensation: $20 per hour + $500 bonus for every appointment that results in a completed sale

Position Overview

Greystone Construction is seeking motivated, outgoing, and dependable individuals to join our team as Outdoor Canvassers. This position involves going door to door in residential neighborhoods to introduce homeowners to our construction and remodeling services, identify potential projects, and schedule appointments for our sales team.

We specialize in residential construction, remodeling, roofing, stucco, windows, driveways, earthquake retrofitting, kitchens, bathrooms, and other home improvement services. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, is comfortable working outdoors, and is motivated by performance-based earnings.

No construction experience is required. We provide guidance on our services and what to look for when identifying potential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit residential neighborhoods and engage homeowners in friendly, professional conversations.
• Introduce Greystone Construction and explain our home improvement and construction services.
• Identify potential projects, including:
• • Damaged or deteriorating stucco and exterior paint.
  • Old or damaged roofs.
  • Aging or broken windows.
  • Cracked or damaged driveways and concrete.
  • Earthquake retrofitting and foundation bolting opportunities.
  • Kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home remodeling projects.
• Ask homeowners about their upcoming construction or renovation needs.
• Schedule qualified appointments for our sales and estimating team.
• Record homeowner contact information, project details, and appointment information accurately.
• Represent Greystone Construction professionally and maintain a positive company image.
• Follow company guidelines, neighborhood solicitation rules, and applicable local requirements.

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Comfortable approaching homeowners and working outdoors for extended periods.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and goal-oriented.
• Willingness to learn about construction services and home improvement opportunities.
• Previous door-to-door sales, canvassing, customer service, or appointment-setting experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to work independently and meet daily activity goals.

Compensation & Earning Potential

• Base pay: $20 per hour.
• Performance bonus: $500 for every appointment that results in a completed sale, subject to company bonus terms.
