Mid/Journeyman eLearning Developer
Position Overview Builds and converts FEMA training content into high-quality online/eLearning formats (LCMS/LMS compatible) and ensures the user experience, accessibility, and technical standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Develop/revise interactive courseware using industry tools; provide multimedia and eLearning content support across deliverables.</li>
<li>Ensure deliverables meet Section 508 and are SCORM/xAPI compliant for LMS integration; perform QA testing (navigation, branching logic, assessment tracking).</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Experience
<ul>
<li>37 years experience; proven portfolio of interactive eLearning projects.</li>
</ul>
Required Skills
<ul>
<li>eLearning authoring, multimedia production, accessibility (508), LMS packaging/standards (SCORM/xAPI), testing/QA, and formatting to FEMA presentation guidelines.</li>
</ul>
Certification Requirement
<ul>
<li>DHS Trusted Tester methodology for 508 validation</li>
</ul>
Clearance Requirement
<ul>
<li>Public Trust background investigation required.</li>
</ul>
