Position Overview
This remote school psychology role involves delivering prehensive psychological services for students participating in virtual educational programs. You'll work with advanced telepractice technology to conduct assessments, provide counseling services, and support behavioral interventions across diverse grade levels and educational settings.
Time mitment: 35-37.5 hours per week Student Population: 42-52 students in virtual learning environments Academic Levels: Pre-K through 12th grade with focus on high school Platform: Professional telepractice platforms with secure educational access
Key Responsibilities
- Perform psychological evaluations and educational assessments using virtual testing protocols
- Provide individual counseling and group therapy services through secure teletherapy platforms
- Design and monitor behavioral intervention plans for students in remote learning settings
- Collaborate with virtual classroom teachers to address academic and behavioral concerns
- Support families in navigating mental health resources and educational acmodations
- Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
- Deliver crisis intervention services and emergency mental health support as needed
Essential Qualifications
- State Licensure: Active school psychologist license in Ohio
- Educational Background: Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- School Experience: Minimum 2 years in educational or clinical settings
- Virtual petency: Experience with telepractice platforms and virtual service delivery
- Professional Development: mitment to ongoing training in evidence-based practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related discipline
- Experience with virtual psychological assessments and remote interventions
