Title: Senior Financial Analyst - Commerce Business Systems (CBS)

Clearance: Public Trust (Moderate Risk)

Location: On-site, Washington, DC (ITA/OCFAO/ Budget and Finance office)

Experience: 8+ years

Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Metrics is pursuing a contract with the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), to provide financial management operations and support under a long-term engagement in Washington, DC. We are seeking highly qualified professionals with deep federal financial experience — particularly those familiar with Commerce Business Systems (CBS) — to join our team if awarded the contract.

Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, and document enhancements to financial systems (CBS, GFMS, NFC)
Liaise with NIST, Department of State, and other agencies to resolve interoperability issues
Draft and update financial management policies, SOPs, and internal control documentation
Facilitate working sessions with client offices to gather financial systems requirements
Coordinate system test planning and post-implementation verification

Required Qualifications:

Experience with CBS and GFMS workflows, including data tables and system reporting
Familiarity with federal financial policies and internal control frameworks (OMB A-123, GAO Green Book)
Strong writing and presentation skills
Federal experience supporting DOC, DoS, or USDA preferred
