Senior Mechanical/Structural Drafter and Checker
Company:
A growing engineering company specializing in the design and manufacturing of bulk material handling equipment and electrical control upgrades. The company was founded in 1996 and has grown to over 50 employees with multiple office locations across several states. We are currently expanding our workforce and seeking qualified candidates in the mechanical and structural drafting field.
Job Description:
The candidate shall have a minimum of 10 years of related experience and possess the following qualifications:
• Proficient with AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Inventor (3D) software
• 10+ years of experience drafting mechanical and structural components for heavy bulk material handling or similar equipment with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with general arrangement drawings and steel shop detail prints
• Experienced in the process of checking and reviewing drawings between engineering and drafting
• Experience with foundation layout and detailing is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows-based computers
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to group discussions
• Willing to travel (up to 10%) for onsite job discussions, inspections, field measuring, troubleshooting, and field support
