Job DescriptionPro CDL-A holders should consider a dedicated offering with C.R. England, the premier long-haul refrigerated carrier in the country. Drivers on this Family Dollar account haul dry freight within a multi-state area. This position is ideal for drivers wanting to do more than drive and stay active.
- Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required
- This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.
Lane Details:
- Dedicated account with Family Dollar hauling all dry freight to customer locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregan, Utah, Washington and Wyoming
- Average 1,700 miles, 2 loads per week, and 3 stops per load
- Start time is 6AM with up to 14 hour shift
- Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset. Drivers living in Las Vegas will be out 2 weeks at a time followed by 3 days home
- Unload the trailer using rollers (requires climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary)
- Days off vary based on freight demand.
- Top-of-the-line, tandem-axle, sleeper trucks pulling 53-ft dry van trailers.
Driver Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 Years of age or older
- 3 months or more of recent CDL-A experience
