Physical Therapist Assistant – Orthopedic Outpatient Care in Boca Raton
For the PTA Who Likes Practical Rehab Work
This role is hands-on, active, and patient-facing. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll help patients complete the treatment plan created by the Physical Therapist and support progress through movement, exercise, and education.
The clinic is PT-owned, outpatient orthopedic, and located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Patient Volume
You’ll typically work with 2 patients per hour, allowing for focused instruction and better patient interaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT
- Guide patients through strengthening, stretching, balance, and mobility exercises
- Support gait training and functional movement activities
- Watch patient performance, comfort, and safety
- Communicate patient updates to the supervising PT
- Reinforce home exercise programs
- Complete accurate daily notes
- Keep treatment areas clean, prepared, and organized
Requirements
- Active Florida PTA License
- PTA Degree required
- Outpatient experience required, including clinical rotation experience for new graduates
- New graduates are welcome to apply

Schedule, Pay, and Benefits
- Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year
- Schedule: Flexible — 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
