Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in La Porte, Texas. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory management and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in tracking assets, conducting physical inventories, and maintaining precise records.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all data is up to date.
• Monitor assembly lines to track inventory usage and replenishments.
• Conduct regular physical inventory checks to verify stock levels.
• Manage asset inventory and ensure proper documentation for all items.
• Coordinate annual inventory processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and records.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory needs are met.
• Prepare detailed inventory reports for management review.
• Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to inventory control.• Proven experience in inventory management or related roles.
• Familiarity with assembly line operations and inventory tracking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Knowledge of asset inventory processes and documentation.
• Experience with annual inventory procedures and reporting.
• Proficient in using inventory tracking software and systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
