Job Overview
As the Delivery Driver and Clerk, you will support and assist our Inventory/ Office Manager and Management team in receiving, stocking, organizing and delivering materials and equipment for our field operations as well as perform and initiate office tasks as assigned/needed.
Shift: 6:15 AM - 2:45 PM
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- Logistically familiar with NYC
- High School Diploma
- Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
- Clean driving record – Keep up to date with NYC motor vehicle laws and speed limits
- Ability to handle physical workload, lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders when necessary and operate equipment
- Problem solver, critical thinker
- Basic computer skills – knowledge of basic technology
- Must be outgoing, personable and resourceful
- Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to FSA technicians and customers on the job site throughout NYC
- Load and unload delivery vehicle
- Pick and pack materials to prep for deliveries
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of deliveries
- Maintain organized and accurate stock/inventory
- Responsible for the maintenance, inspection and upkeep of assigned delivery company vehicle
- Assist Management with maintenance, inspection and upkeep of all company vehicles
- Adhere to Manager’s direction and assigned daily tasks
- Ability to take directions and follow instructions
- Assist with administrative office tasks assigned by Management
