Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in Saratoga Springs, New York. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment and are comfortable caring for a diverse adult patient population.

The selected candidate will provide high-quality bedside care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and float within scope of practice based on patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment interventions
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers
• Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and support staff
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection prevention, and patient care standards
• Float to appropriate units based on staffing and patient care needs

Requirements

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
