Key Responsibilities
· Receiving & Stocking:
· Unload trucks using pallet jack or forklift.
· Review all shipping/BOL documents to verify details of all incoming products for accuracy.
· Verify all incoming shipments against packing slips/invoices for accuracy.
· Stage, unpack, and stock raw materials and packaging in designated areas.
· Inventory Management:
· Maintain assigned zones (raw materials, packaging, finished goods).
· Conduct daily and monthly cycle counts; update spreadsheets accurately.
· Monitor product movement, track expiration/use-by dates, and report shortages or discrepancies.
· Maintain organization of warehouse spaces (silos, proof box area, freezer racks, janitorial inventory).
· Rotate stock using FIFO (first in, first out).
· Re-bag/reseal damaged product when necessary.
· Finished Goods Handling:
· Move finished goods from packing room into freezer racks.
· Rotate and stack pallets safely and correctly.
· Perform twice-daily freezer inventory counts.
· Order Fulfillment & Shipping:
· Accurately pick, pack, and prepare distributor and office orders.
· Organize sales orders by pickup day and shipping deadlines.
· Build pallets for delivery/pickup.
· Support to Production & Packing:
· Supply production areas with daily raw materials (e.g., flours, sugar, oils, seeds, salt, specialty ingredients).
· Provide packing room with corrugate, bags, and other packaging materials.
· Organize trays, pans, and other bakery tools when not in use.
· General Duties:
· Keep warehouse clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
· Follow all safety protocols with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
· Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum one (1) year warehouse experience.
· Forklift certification preferred.
· Ability to distinguish SKU numbers, sizes, colors, quantities, and designs.
· Strong math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
· Basic computer and data entry proficiency.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
· Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attendance record.
· Must read (minimum 6th grade level) and speak English.
Physical Requirements
***MUST KNOW HOW TO OPERATE SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT COMFORTABLY****
· Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
· Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift.
· Work in walk-in freezer environments (thermal gear provided).
Schedule
Tuesday through Saturday
Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
