Job Details
• Registered Nurse responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Job Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required.

Schedule Information
• Days shift.

Unit Specific Information
• Position specialty: RN CCU (Critical Care Unit).

Additional Details
• MGB Badge Photo required for onboarding (color photo taken in past 6 months, no selfies, plain background).
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred.
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date required and updated if >6 month break.
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date required and updated if >6 month break.
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred.
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date required and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date required and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
• Two references within 4 years required for submission, minimum 1 supervisor or above.
• MGB Skills Checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission.
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation.
• MGB Education Verification through background check company required.
• MGB SSN Trace must be run with criminal check.
• MGB National Sex Offender Check run within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• MGB Exclusion Checks run within 30 days of start and annually.
• MGB Name Change Documentation if applicable.
• MGB TB Symptom Survey if positive PPD, updated annually.
• MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission to initial assignment and new facility.
• Fit Test (N95) within 365 days to start date and updated annually required.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
• MGB Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with 80% passing required.
