Job DescriptionABOUT THE ROLE:The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter is seeking a CDL Bus Driver to join our Facilities Management Department! In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and courteous transportation of the people we support to and from various program sites.This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to provide a positive and respectful experience for those we serve.Responsibilities:Safe and courteous operation of assigned vehicles, maintaining appropriate speed based on road conditions and always observing posted speed limitsFollow all New York State driving laws, DMV regulations (including 19-A), and agency policies and proceduresPerform complete vehicle pre-checks prior to operationReport all accidents, no matter how minor, to the Director of Facilities ManagementReport any traffic violations or citations immediately, whether in an agency or personal vehicleMaintain vehicle cleanliness, including disinfecting and ensuring a neat interiorComplete required recordkeeping, including daily attendance and reportsSupport the Facilities Department as needed, based on operational needsEnsure the health, safety, and well-being of the people we support by adhering to all agency policiesMaintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency standardsAttend required trainings, meetings, and complete all assigned responsibilitiesQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDValid, clean NYS CDL Class B license with passenger endorsementAbility to meet all NYS DMV 19-A requirements and pass required physicalsStrong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAdequate manual dexterity and ability to sit or stand for extended periodsPAY & PERKS:The pay rate for this position is $24.00/hr.
