Join Our Team as an RN in the Mother Baby Unit!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Position: RN, Mother Baby Unit (Postpartum Care) \n- Location: 2010 Brookwood Med Ctr Dr, Bham, AL 35209 \n- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM \n- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 \n\n- Number of Openings: 1 \n- Weekend Requirements: Every other Friday-Saturday \n- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP \n- Years of Experience: 2 \n\nUnit Information:\n\n- Number of Beds: 27 \n- Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 couplets \n- Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Medela Breast pumps, Medela Breastmilk Warmer \n- EMR: Cerner/EPIC (Effective 8/1/26) \n\nYour Role:\n\n- Provide exceptional postpartum care for mothers and newborns \n- Conduct thorough maternal and newborn assessments \n- Manage postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), hypertension (HTN), and OB sepsis \n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n- Must Have Skills/Experience: \n - Postpartum assessments \n - Strong management skills in challenging situations \n- Preferred Skillset/Experience: \n - Postpartum couplet care (mother and newborn) \n\nPersonality Fit:\n\n- Compassionate and family-centered caregiver \n- Team player with a genuine love for mothers and babies \n\nDress Code:\n\n- Scrub Color: Navy \n- Unacceptable Attire: No fleece or t-shirts, MUST have natural nails \n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
