Position Summary:
The Sinter Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sinter presses, mixers, and dosing equipment to produce parts that meet exacting quality standards. This role requires strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical specifications to ensure efficiency and product consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process work orders according to print specifications.

  • Perform mixing and cup filling operations.

  • Set sinter press parameters and assemble molds.

  • Conduct in-process inspections for width, height, length, and chamfers.

  • Follow weekly work-in-process schedules to meet deadlines.

  • Operate and maintain sinter presses, dosing machines, scales, and mixers.

  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Good math skills and basic computer proficiency.

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

  • Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Dependable and able to start immediately or ASAP.

  • Stable work history (no job hoppers).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a sinter press operator or in manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with technical specifications WI-DI-703, TS-DLP-0008, and TS-DLP-0009.

  • Knowledge of master abrasive matrix standards.
