Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Previous hands-on experience working as an ORT and/or in surgical nursing support
- Comprehensive knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced surgical environments and support both surgeons and medical teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care excellence
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Schedule:
- Contract position; specific hours will be discussed during the interview
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up operating rooms with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies before procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and anticipating needs
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques while monitoring patient safety
- Prepare and manage surgical specimens for laboratory analysis
- Collaborate with the perioperative care team for optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure all surgical equipment is counted, documented, cleaned, and restocked post-procedure
