Overview
• Seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support the accounting team during a finance program launch for the uBreakiFix team. Responsibilities include issue resolution, financial transaction validation, and testing support across multiple business units.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Resolve inventory and receiving discrepancies in the accounting system.
• Close and write off aged work orders with proper documentation.
• Manage price maintenance, trade agreement updates, and related financial issues.
• Reconcile banking and cash transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Process and resolve customer and vendor settlements, including aging cleanup.
• Investigate and correct settlement variances in compliance with financial policies.
• Support business to business account reconciliations and needed financial adjustments.
• Perform bad debt assessments and write-offs following approval guidelines.
• Execute UAT test scenarios and document issues, ensuring workflows perform as expected.
• Conduct post-release validation to confirm accurate financial transactions and system behavior.
Qualifications
· A proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
· 2-3 year’s experience in a high growth or transformational environment with similar responsibilities.
· Hands-on style with ability to dig into details.
· Proficient in Excel.
· A high attention to detail required.
· Microsoft Dynamics experience viewed favorably.
· Data entry experience viewed favorably.
· Strong organizational and planning skills.
· Information collection and management skills.
· Problem identification and research skills.
· Written and verbal communication skills.
