Job Description

Job Overview

Thank you for taking the time to learn about THH 358 LLC.

We are a growing faith-based recovery support services organization committed to providing peer-led behavioral health support in Colorado. Our mission is grounded in faith, compassion, and respect for the dignity of every person. While our services are client-centered and open to individuals from all backgrounds, we intentionally integrate values of hope, grace, and accountability into the way we support recovery.

Our team includes certified peer recovery coaches who deliver recovery-focused support in line with Colorado Medicaid billing guidelines. To maintain compliance and expand access to services, we are seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to join our team in a supervisory and optional clinical capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to peer recovery specialists, reviewing and approving session documentation in compliance with Medicaid and BHA standards.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional guidelines across all recovery support services.
  • Offer clinical consultation to peer staff when complex client needs, safety issues, or crisis situations arise.
  • Collaborate with recovery coaches to integrate evidence-based practices with peer-led, lived-experience approaches.
  • Support program compliance by staying current with Medicaid, BHA, and RAE requirements for billing, supervision, and documentation.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of session notes and service delivery to maintain high standards of care.
  • Facilitate case discussions or clinical team meetings as needed to strengthen recovery-oriented practices.
  • Provide optional direct client services (assessment, therapy, consultation) under your license, if desired.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development, particularly around supervision, documentation, and service delivery standards.
  • Serve as a professional role model for integrating clinical expertise with the peer recovery model.

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted license in Colorado as a Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) — other licensed behavioral health professionals (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) may be considered
  • Completion of all supervision hours (no provisional or candidate status)
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid documentation and billing standards, including (peer support) and related service codes
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines in behavioral health practice
  • Demonstrated ability to review, approve, and provide feedback on clinical or peer documentation
  • Experience in clinical supervision, quality assurance, or program oversight within behavioral health or peer services
  • Commitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented principles, and culturally responsive practice
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both licensed clinicians and peer support staff
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with willingness to participate in in-person meetings in Colorado Springs as needed

Preferred Qualifications (not required but highly appreciated)

  • Previous experience supervising or collaborating with peer recovery specialists, RSSOs, or community-based recovery programs
  • Background in substance use recovery, either professionally or personally supportive, with understanding of lived-experience perspectives
  • Experience with Medicaid billing and compliance, especially with Colorado RAEs and service codes
  • Training or certification in trauma-informed care, harm reduction, or motivational interviewing

Benefits

  • No benefits are offered at this time (e.g., health insurance, retirement, or paid time off are not included).
  • No relocation assistance is provided.
  • This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, not a W-2 employee role.
  • As a contractor, you will be responsible for:
  • Paying your own self-employment taxes at the end of the year
  • Managing your own health coverage and retirement planning
  • While there is no paid time off (PTO), the position is fully remote and offers complete scheduling flexibility.
  • You are not bound to specific clock in/out times. You may structure your week as you prefer — for example:
  • 5 days at 8 hours each
  • 4 days at 10 hours each
  • Or another schedule that works for you, as long as weekly hours and responsibilities are fulfilled
