Job Summary
Join a vital delivery team responsible for transporting fresh produce across established routes. This role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate deliveries while delivering excellent customer service. Drivers also handle payments, resolve order issues, support customer concerns, and complete daily truck inspections to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Essential Duties
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Will perform pre-trip and post trip inspections on trucks and equipment.
- Present bills, receipts, and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
- Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles as required.
- Verify the contents on customer loads against shipping documents.
- Pick-up fresh produce from locally sourced farms as needed.
- Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.

- Communicating with supervisors, peers, subordinates, and customer staff.
- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Effective problem solving and reasoning skills to resolve customer discrepancies and complaints with regards to deliveries.
Certification and Licensing
- Must possess a valid CDL A/B Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record.
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiners Certificate (PUC Card).
Physical Demands
- Must be able to pass D.O.T. physical.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to push weighted delivery carts on all surfaces.

Work Environment
- Must be able to work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from 30 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.
