Twin City Staffing is hiring a manual machinist for a well-established machining company in Brooklyn Park, MN. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced machinists and recent trade school graduates looking to work with a variety of manual machines in a clean, team-oriented environment. Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Wage:
- $35.00 - $40.00 per hour for experienced machinists
- $27.00 - $32.00 per hour for recent trade school graduates

Duties of the manual machinist:
- Set up and operate manual lathes and mills
- Work with equipment including Fortune lathes, Bridgeport/ACRA mills, turret lathes, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure parts using precision tools to maintain tight tolerances
- Machine materials such as steel, brass, and aluminum
- Ensure finished parts meet quality and safety standards
Requirements of the manual machinist:
- Trade school certificate or degree required
- 2+ years of recent manual machining experience
- Strong understanding of cutting speeds, tooling, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Ability to lift heavy materials as needed
- Pass background check, drug test, and E-Verify
