What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with children preferred
- Familiarity with K-8th grade populations and their unique developmental needs
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current state licensure or eligibility is required
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8
- Developing individualized therapy goals and implementing plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other related service professionals
- Documenting student progress and preparing required reports in a timely manner
- Assisting in assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility and ongoing therapy needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to students’ educational plans
