Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide occupational therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade in a school setting. Working as a traveling occupational therapist, you will engage with diverse student populations in Hamlet, NC, during the period from January 6, 2026, to May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities include assessing and developing individualized treatment plans to support students’ functional abilities and participation in educational activities. You will collaborate with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to optimize each child's development and school experience. The role requires a commitment to travel to the assigned location and deliver therapy services 37.5 hours per week throughout the contract duration.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid occupational therapy license and relevant certifications
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings, preferably with PreK to 8th-grade students
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans that address functional and developmental needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate travel requirements within the specified assignment
