Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a meaningful role supporting students with communication needs as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF). This contract opportunity allows you to make a direct impact in a dynamic school environment near Saint Johns, FL, starting August 5, 2026 through May 29, 2027. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available, with flexibility to work across multiple sites including Beachside High School (4 days/week) and Nease High School (2 days/week). Assignments can be combined to create a full-time itinerant position, giving you variety and the chance to serve students across different campuses.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure required
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Willingness and ability to provide supervision when needed
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but highly motivated graduates are encouraged to apply
- Completion of required fingerprints and credentialing (including JLA badge process)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to assigned students
- Carry a caseload including high school-aged students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff for student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district and state guidelines
- Travel to multiple school sites as needed (assignments and locations may be combined)
