Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their skilled nursing facility (SNF) team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will collaborate closely with Physical Therapists to carry out individualized treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, and help improve overall patient mobility and quality of life.     Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with supervising PTs.

  • Support patients in therapeutic exercises and functional activities to enhance mobility and relieve pain.

  • Document and track patient progress accurately.

  • Educate patients and families on at-home exercise programs and self-care techniques.

  • Provide therapy in areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, acute care, and rehabilitation.

  • Conduct resident screenings and share objective data with PTs within PTA scope of practice.

  • Deliver therapy treatments as directed in the plan of care.

  • Actively contribute to the success of the rehab department, interdisciplinary team (IDT), and facility.

    Requirements:

  • Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program

  • Current Florida PTA License (Required)

  • CPR Certification (Required)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Comfortable with technology and medical software

    Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • 8-hour day shifts, MondayFriday

  • No weekends required
