Smith Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A OTR drivers for consistent freight and flexible scheduling options. Whether you prefer weekends home or longer runs with higher earning potential, Smith gives you the freedom to choose the schedule that fits your lifestyle. Haul direct customer freight with no broker loads while enjoying industry-leading equipment and strong driver support.

  • Multiple home time options available
  • Choose your pay & schedule:
  • $0.55 CPM – Home weekends (48 hours)
  • $0.60 CPM – Weekday home time
  • $0.65 CPM – 12 days out / 48 hours home
  • $0.65 CPM – 21 days out / 7 days home
  • Mostly drop & hook freight
  • No NYC freight
  • No broker freight
  • Passenger policy from Day 1
  • Per diem pay

Requirements

  • Age 21+
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 year recent CDL-A OTR experience
  • Safe parking location for truck & trailer at home OR Ability to park at a terminal
