Job Details – Locum Tenens Anesthesia (Vincennes, IN)
- Position: Locum Tenens CRNA – General Anesthesia (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
- Location: Vincennes, IN 47591-1038 (historic city; easy access to Illinois and Evansville)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: 7,920 – 8,350
- Start Date: May 1, 2026 (multiple ongoing blocks available)
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (7:00am–3:00pm or 7:00am–5:00pm)
- Call Schedule: Weekday call (5pm–7am) once or twice per week; 24-hour weekend call; post-call day off for weekday call
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed for full week coverage)
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 60–90 days (temporary privileges available with clear background and malpractice history)
Job Requirements – CRNA Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA clinical experience in anesthesia care
- Active, unrestricted RN and CRNA license in Indiana (Indiana licensure required)
- Enrollment in INPCF required
- ACLS certification (AHA issued)
- Proof of 250 case logs per year for the past 2 years (including epidurals, spinals, and peripheral nerve blocks)
- Clear background and malpractice history for credentialing
Responsibilities – Locum Tenens CRNA / Anesthesia Duties
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care across a broad case mix: General, Endoscopy, Orthopedics (including joint replacement), Urology, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, ENT, and Radiology with anesthesia
- Perform regional anesthesia techniques: spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks
- Manage perioperative anesthesia care, including patient assessment, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Participate in call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as required
- Collaborate closely with MDs, CRNAs, and Anesthesia Assistants to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Document accurately and timely in Epic EMR and adhere to institutional policies
