Clinical Director – Physical Therapy (Outpatient)Summary:


As Clinical Director, you will oversee the clinical and financial operations of a high-performing outpatient clinic. You’ll champion clinical excellence, cultivate a culture of mentorship and collaboration, and foster relationships with patients, referral sources, and the wider community.

Education & Experience Requirements


- Doctorate or Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT, MPT, MSPT, etc.)

- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting

- Valid New York Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)

- Demonstrated leadership ability, with a proven track record in clinical settings

- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills


Key Responsibilities


- Lead a talented multidisciplinary team, coaching and developing staff clinicians and support team members

- Mentor, hire, and evaluate clinic staff, ensuring top standards in patient care and customer service

- Grow the clinic through local marketing and outreach efforts, in partnership with the central sales and marketing teams

- Oversee clinic operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and achievement of key operational metrics

- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based plans of care tailored to each patient’s needs

- Monitor quality, compliance, and documentation standards, maintaining rigorous adherence to regulatory and billing guidelines

- Build and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians, healthcare partners, and the local community

- Promote ongoing clinical education, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities for all team members

- Provide direct patient care as appropriate

- Set and achieve both clinic and personal professional goals in support of the organization’s mission
