Billing & Administrative Support

If so, 1-Hour Drain is seeking a motivated Billing & Administrative Support professional to join our Plumbing team.


We're not your average plumbing and HVAC company we're a one-stop service solution for the multifamily industry, serving families both inside and outside our organization. In this role, youll be a key support partner to our Plumbing Department, ensuring customer billing, estimates, and payments are handled accurately and on time. Your work will directly impact cash flow, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of the department.


Position Summary

This role is critical to ensuring customer billing is accurate, timely, and complete. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the billing process, helping the department stay current on invoicing and estimates.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit customer invoices promptly and accurately
  • Ensure all job details, documentation, and approvals are gathered prior to billing
  • Monitor and manage billing timelines to prevent delays or backlogs
  • Ensure estimates are created and sent to customers quickly and accurately
  • Track outstanding invoices and follow up as needed
  • Communicate with the Plumbing team to resolve billing discrepancies or missing information
  • Maintain organized and accurate billing records
  • Support the department with additional administrative tasks as needed


Qualifications

  • Prior experience in billing, accounts receivable, or administrative support
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills and professional customer interaction
  • Proficient with basic office software and billing systems (experience with service-based invoicing is a plus)
  • Reliable, organized, and proactive

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Experience in plumbing or HVAC
