Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support an elementary school in San Jose, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work three days per week (.6 FTE) throughout the full academic year, serving a small caseload of elementary students.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and screenings
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers and parents to support student communication goals
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school policies
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with valid state licensure
- CCC credentials preferred
- Experience working in educational settings, especially with elementary-aged children
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a part-time schedule
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with school staff and families
