Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
\n• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
\n• Every other weekend coverage required
\n• No call responsibilities
\n• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
\n• Holiday requirements: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
\n• 12 hours of orientation required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, GSCC (can take onsite), EBRR (can take onsite)
\n• Must use Epic charting system
\n• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Treat diagnoses including HTN, diabetes, congestive heart failure, end stage renal disease, coronary artery disease, abdominal pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, pulmonary embolism, COPD, and behavioral health
\n• Skills include trauma care, central line management, phlebotomy, ventilated patient care, IV management, emergency medications, procedural sedation, triage, and dysrhythmia interpretation
\n• Daily census of 150 patients with 34 rooms available
\n• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
\n• Two supervisory references highly preferred
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
