2026-27 Upper School College Counselor
College Counselors at this school are passionate, student-centered educators committed to
delivering dynamic, engaging, and rigorous academic experiences. The College Counselor will work closely with upper school students
For the college counselor, it's of course based on experience, but it's between $85 - $120k.
Job Responsibilities
The Upper School College Counselor key responsibilities are as follows:
• Proactively create and develop positive relationships with all school community members
(students, families, teachers, administrators, and staff).
• Meet with parents and guardians of students in assigned caseload (approximately 30 students per
grade, 10-12) to discuss student progress and to determine priorities for the students and their
academic needs and goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in the subject area or a related field (Master’s preferred).
● Expertise in College Counseling, including knowledge of admissions processes and trends.
● Skills in College Applications and navigating application platforms.
● Experience in Student Counseling and working with high school students.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and faculty.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced educational environment with diverse students and families.
● Familiarity with college readiness tools and resources is a plus.
